Pam and I are in the process of preparing for our buying a one way ticket to Bangkok and beginning a life that should find us as English teachers abroad. I wanted to start a blog before we were too far along in doing our research, so that we could document our adventure from before we even get there. The research we've already done is worth posting online for our own and others' reference.
My first web idea related to travel is an online travel book club which can be found at http://treklit.com. It's a place where good travel literature is recommended, critiques are given, dialogues created and travel suggestion passed along relating to regions around the world. What I plan to do here will be the specific log of our preparation, arrival, and experiences enjoyed along our journey to becoming teachers in Thailand and what we learn and think about living there. I'll link this blog and my travel book site together because they are both travel related, but this place will serve as our online journal.
